Pet's Story or Bio
My name is Leo. Me and my litter mates were dumped and we became feral. Life was hard and we were scared. People came and tricked me, I was so hungry but when I went to eat the food they left me the door slammed shut. My siblings ran away and I never saw them again. The people came back and took me away. Everything was scary. One day they put me in a box and I went up in the sky like a bird. It was terrifying. When I finally got back to the ground all the people were different. I barked and cried a lot but nobody understood. One day a lady took me home. She said she was my foster mom. She was really nice to me but I was still scared. She said I was smart. Then she said sneaky smart and laughed. One day she took me to meet other people. I was very scared. They had a dog with them but he was not my family. Eventually they put me in a box. It was terrifying. It reminded me of that other time. They took me away from everything I had just gotten used to. I ran and hid when they finally let me out of the box. They talked to me and pushed food and water into my hiding spot and then they showed me a wonderful furry bed. And toys, oh my goodness the toys! I made friends with that other dog and we play a lot. I have a new mom and I sleep close to her every night. She says I’m a little furnace. I’m so lucky and so happy today. I still get scared sometimes but I know I have a forever family and I’ll always be safe.
