Pet's Story or Bio
Shopkeep was a street dog when we met ten years ago in Haimen City, China, while I was teaching English there. He was hiding out by my apartment, and what started as slipping him scraps now and then has become a decade-long bond. He is pure Chinese village dog. Village dogs are free-roaming animals not descended from standardized breeds, and are found in pockets all over the world. He is clever, anxious, funny, and truly my soulmate.
