About Us

The mission of Memphis Pets Alive! is to promote and provide the resources, education and programs needed to save the lives of companion animals in local shelters. We are implementing innovative and progressive ways to help shelter animals in the Memphis & Mid-South area after studying the best practices of other cities. We are currently focused on helping the animals who are at risk in shelters through networking and by helping owners with positive alternatives to shelter surrender through our Pet Pantry, rescuing cats and kittens off of local euthanasia lists for our Cat Adoption Program, and networking animals available at local shelters to get them the exposure they need to find homes. Memphis Pets Alive! is a 501c3 nonprofit.
