Amanda is a service dog for my autistic nephew and a medical alert for me, and has saved our lives countless times. She knows and loves more people and dogs in NYC than anyone I know. She’s an animal rights activist, avid hiker, popular camping companion, and expects belly rubs from everyone. She’s a pro at convincing people they need to hand over their bananas, and has no idea what a stranger is.
