I started donating my time to animal rescue in 2015, and in NYC in 2023, through volunteering with shelter dogs and becoming a dog foster. I initially fostered Miso, who was adopted out of Muddy Paws, before I fostered her sister, Ziti. Salem and Ziti fell in love and the rest is history. Getting a third pet and second dog was NOT in my plan. But our little pack would be incomplete any other way. The three of them make my heart feel whole.

Fun Fact: Miso (Ziti’s sister) found her forever home with my best friends. We look forward to reuniting them on a hike soon.
