Photos in this contest were previously submitted to MRFRS. Photos are now open to voting by the general public. Votes are $1 each, with a minimum $5 donation for 5 votes.
To vote online, click on the Participate tab above. Donate a minimum of $5 for five votes. Those votes can then be cast for any submitted photo in one-vote increments. Voters do not have to use all of the votes at the time of donation. When voters donate, they will be given the option of applying all of the votes to one photo, spreading their votes over various photos, or storing votes in their account. If a voter chooses to store their votes, the voter can log into their account using their ID and password and vote at a later time. All votes must be applied to selected photos by the conclusion of the voting period to be counted. Votes cannot be applied to future contests. The online voting period will end at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
The number of votes (donations) each photograph has will be tabulated but hidden until 72 hours prior to the contest end date. On May 12, 2022 at 9:00:00 p.m. EDT each photograph's vote count will be displayed through the end of the voting period.
Ending time for the Calendar Cover Cat Contest will be determined by the host website's server and will show prominently on the Calendar Cover Cat Contest website as a countdown clock on the last day of the fundraiser.
The photograph with the most votes (donations) at the end of the submission period will win the voting portion of the Calendar Cover Cat Contest.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be selected by a panel of judges.
All votes are donations to the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society and are fully tax-deductible as permitted by law. All donors will receive receipts for their contributions.
Votes are non-refundable.
After the minimum 50 votes are met, donations do not increase the chances of winning.
A potential winner will be selected in a random drawing within 24 hours of the close of the Calendar Cover Cat Contest on May 15, 2022. Potential winner will be notified by phone and/or email. If the potential winner cannot be reached after 3 days from the first notification attempt, such prize will be forfeited. In the event the winner declines the prize or if the prize is forfeited as stated above, another winner will be selected.
Employees or persons affiliated with Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society are ineligible to win.
