We adopted Lil Bit from MSRH last July and she has brought so much love and joy into our lives. She is only 5 pounds but does not let that deter her. When we have a foster, she lets them know who's the boss! We also have a 14 year old female Schnauzer, Talli, that is almost deaf and Lil Bit has become her ears. They have bonded and follow each other around and sleep together in a doggie bed or curled up on the big bed. When we decided to take a road trip from Texas to Maine, it was a given that the "girls" would go with us. Lil Bit just seemed to take it all in stride and was a great comfort to Talli. Everywhere we stopped, people were in awe of her size thinking she was a puppy. Even big tattooed men would talk baby talk to her! She loves to sit and take in her surroundings, so when she sat on the rocky Atlantic coast at Pemaquid lighthouse in Maine, it was very easy to snap this photo. We are thankful every day that Lil Bit has come into our lives.
