Griffin Strapac is nearly 10 years old after having been adopted in the Fall of 2010. It seems that Griffin may be a little more inactive than when he was younger but overall Griffin remains very agile, attentive, and playful as ever. His favorite play activities remain hide and seek mainly in the house; getting and attacking his toys when provoked to play by his parents; and riding in the family car on the passenger side with the window wide open so that he can stand on his heed legs surveying the neighborhood.
After being left alone Griffin is always extremely excited to greet his parents when they come home and will literally tear throughout the house until he is exhausted. What we find so amazing about Griffin is how respectful he is of his home and its’ belongings. Griffin only moves and plays with his things; always knows to lay in his bed wherever it is placed; and never even attempts to take food off our plates or only when it is explicitly offered to him.
Griffin remains a one family or almost one person dog the only other person exception is Ellen his adopted Mom. We continue to share our unconditional love to Griffin which he returns much more to us. My personal experience is that Griffin has a significant extraordinary sense of bonding and human closeness that will be sustained by us forever.
