A little about me...
We adopted Daisy shortly after our white mini, Shasta, suddenly crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Our hearts and our yard were empty as we struggled daily with our sorrow. Shasta's Dad said that it just wasn't right not to have a little white Miniature Schnauzer running around in the yard. It was then that we began searching for minis. We came across MSRH online and began perusing the pictures for that special face that looked like the one we had lost. We immediately fell in love when we saw her photo.

Daisy was so afraid when we met her. Dad picked her up in his arms while gently speaking to her. Daisy was very anti-social at first. We couldn't take her anywhere. Slowly but surely, love won her heart - especially her Dad's heart.

Dad is her favorite with Mom coming in dead last. Daisy thinks that her place is beside Dad on Mom's side of the bed. She lets Mom know regularly that she belongs next to Dad. Daisy plays well with her adopted sister, BlueBelle, who is also a mini. At times, Daisy will sneak up on BlueBelle and nip her on the rump or pull her long ears. And with a "yelp" the chase is on!

Daisy has helped to mend our broken hearts. We needed her as much as she needed us. At times, we wonder who really rescued whom.
