A little about me...
Hello everyone. My name is Kayla and I was adopted by my "peoples" in August 2019. My two-legged parents started taking me on walks which was a new experience for me. I had no idea what this "leash thing" was all about. There were lots of dogs and people out walking so initially I felt a need to protect my "peoples" so I tried to be "ferocious". I now love my walks especially since I'm in charge of which direction we go. I also love all my new doggie friends. But I don't like rain on my head so I refuse to walk on those days even though I have a raincoat. Who can walk and take care of your business wearing one of those? I now know where my "special people" live and during my walks I stop and stare at their homes hoping they see me and come out to say hi and maybe bring me a treat. I am a serious lizard hunter, love to cuddle, take car rides and alert the household should someone knock on our door. No need for a doorbell with me around! Also, despite my age I'm a very fast runner and can "sail through the air" when chasing a squirrel. Haven't caught one yet! Now I willingly posed for this picture and my "peoples" two grandchildren did a great job but I had to fuss at them occasionally to hurry it up! I had things to do.
