We adopted Pepper in 2013. A neighbor was getting ready to take him to the shelter because her children wouldn't take care of him properly and she was sick. There was no way we were letting him go to the shelter. We have schnauzers and they are the best breeds ever. We paid the neighbor a rehoming fee for a past vet bill she had that she still owed. We took Pepper to our vet. He was up to date on shots, but needed neutered and was infested with flees. He was only 9 pounds when we got him. He is now healthy and 17 pounds. Pepper has a lot of energy. He thinks it is time to play all the time. He loves tug of war. He loves to take all of the stuffing out of his toys. When he eats, he gets a mouth full of food and carries it into the dining room and drops it on the floor to eat. Samson, another dog we adopted, runs after him picking up any pieces Pepper dropped along the way. Pepper has a blanket that he will run upstairs to get out of his bed and brings it downstairs to snuggle on. The look on his face in this photo, really expresses his personality. He has no time for games, just give him his toy or his treat already.
