Pet's Story or Bio
Bonnie, as a puppy, came to us 11 years ago. We saw her on TV, on the Bonnie Hunt Show. She was among 9 puppies (all siblings) being show cased for adoption on the production's studio floor. Bonnie, her mother and her siblings were all rescued from an animal shelter in Los Angeles County. In the shelter, mom and pups were facing impending euthanization, but just in the nick of time they were picked up and rescued by "Used Dogs", a dog rescue agency in Santa Monica.
After contacting the rescue we were soon on our way to Santa Monica to see the puppies.
Bonnie was the runt of the bunch, pushed aside and ignored by her brothers and sisters. One look into her eyes, it was love at first sight. I had to have this sweet little chihuahua mix. We instantly became best friends.
