Pet's Story or Bio
MaeMae was adopted at the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center. Originally named Anastasia, our 4-year-old son re-named her MaeMae. His reason? We already had an Anastasia! The little girl who was our next-door neighbor and friend!
Our new family member needed her own name, so Anastasia became MaeMae.
We instantly fell in love with MaeMae when we saw her little unusual kitten face on the Mary S. Center's website.
MaeMae was popular at the center, so we drove there hoping that we would get a chance to at least meet her.
When we got there, MaeMae was not there. She was in surgery! Being a responsible pet owner means having our pets spayed and neutered. There are already enough animals at shelters waiting to be adopted.
We went back the next day and finally got to meet little MaeMae. She was gorgeous! A little shy at first, but soon she was playing with us, running around, and getting cuddles.
MaeMae is now my son's best friend. She always has to be wherever he is! They snuggle together, play tag, annoy each other like siblings, and best of all, you can tell they truly love each other.
We are forever grateful to the Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center for helping us find our beautiful MaeMae.
