I wanted another fur baby to keep my 3 year old cat Casino company when my 14 year old Chihuahua Princes passed away. My wife and I visited Mary S. Pet Adoption Center after doing research on places that came highly recommended. After attempting to engage with with several of the adult cats , Nemo who is 3 years old appeared the most curious; however, he was very skittish. We were informed Nemo was recovered from a person whom had several cats, hence his avoidance of human contact. It took about 2 weeks to gain his trust, but today, Nemo is a very loving fur baby, he demands attention, he will verbally let us know and physically let us know. Nemo also has a knack for opening cupboards and drawers that are way beyond his reach. My Nemo boy has brought big smiles from us, our grown children and our grand babies. We are grateful that Nemo chose us to by his parents, he we love him as much as he loves us.
