21 years ago, while driving in our neighborhood my daughter and I came upon a scared little kitten. This kitten seemed lost and was wondering in the street. We took the kitten home to provide him food and water. After a few days of unsuccessfully trying to find his owner we decided to take him to the animal shelter. We couldn’t keep the kitten, we already had a cat and two dogs. After arriving to the shelter we were sent outside to a side gate where a staffer was to meet us to take the cat. After waiting a couple minutes, my anxiety and fear grew. In the back of my mine I knew this cat would be euthanized. Just then my daughter and I decided to leave with the cat in our arms. We just could not bare to leave him there. That day he became our BUDDY.
Buddy gave us 19 years of love and companionship. He was a great cat and missed dearly.
