This is Katniss. As we entered her enclosure my daughter began to pet her. When she walked away, Kat reached out her paw to bring my daughter's hand back as if to say SHE was the one picking us that day. They have been inseparable since. She was adopted from Mary S Roberts when she was 3 years old and originally named Pan Dulce. Kat has been happily in our family for 7 years.
