Pet's Story or Bio
Romeo was rescued in a neighborhood tree about 15 years ago by my cousin. She convinced my dog lover mother to take him in. She reluctantly agreed and he won her over! He was loving to her but did not really like others. When my children and I would visit her, Romeo would scare us with his hissing and lunging with his sharp claws. My mom insisted he was a "lover boy." My mother recently thought he was sick as he was more clingy to her. Turns out he sensed my mother was ill. Unfortunately my mother passed away January 2022. Romeo now lives with my family. In his grief for my mother he has become loving to us, snuggling with my children, following us and giving kitty hugs. He is now our "lover boy". As we help him in his grief he helps us in ours. He is our last connection to my mother or Mimi as my children called her. We love him so much! ❤️ We hope he lives forever! ❤️
