Gilbert is a Dairy Cow Isopod. Although he may look like a bug, Gilbert is more closely related to crustaceans like crabs and shrimp! This means that Gilbert does in fact have gills, so his environment must remain moist and damp. Dairy Cow Isopods eat a variety of foods but their diets consist mostly of decaying materials, fruits, and some types of proteins. Gilbert likes to spend his day burrowing in the dirt, exploring his enclosure, snacking on fish flakes, and mingling with other isopods. Gilbert's personality is shy and sweet, truly a gentle little land crustacean!
