Atlas
In honor of my handsome boy, Atlas, who is now my Angel Above…
It was love at first sight when I met Atlas at MSRs adoption event in October 2024. This strikingly handsome and laid-back rottweiler had been shockingly abandoned at MSRs doorstep, and thanks to their love and support, he not only survived but thrived in their care. Shortly into his stay, their medical team uncovered his Special Care needs. They immediately implemented a medical care plan, and he went into Foster Care with an amazing family. Lucky me that I met him that October and couldn’t wait to become his Forever Mom. I had big plans for our future, and we proceeded to have magical days snuggling, playing fetch and just loving life.

Sadly, his medical challenges overcame his otherwise strong body, and we had to say Goodbye way too soon, in April of this year. But I’m still the luckiest Mom ever to have had him in my life. He greeted each day with zeal and did the absolute best he could - until he couldn’t any longer. Atlas was one of a kind - my most amazing boy – and will live forever in my heart.
