Pet's Story or Bio
On a trip to Petco BARK was there with lots of dogs for adoption. One of the BARK volunteers stopped me and said they had a little white dog for adoption but was not well enough to bring with them. She asi that she knew that he needed me. Not looking for new member of the family because I already had a fur baby which was with me at the time. She convinced me to meet her the next day to meet “Poodle boy”. When I saw him my heart melted, one of his back legs was lame, ears were so infected there was black goo coming out which smelled horrific. She told me his story, he was in a home where she was picking up little of unwanted puppies and saw this little guy sitting in a corner, cowering and was so skinny he looked on the verge of death. He weighted 3 pounds. She asked about him and the owner said if they gave her $20 could she give him medicine for his ears. She said no but she would take him with her which they agreed too. Obviously, he came home with me and I immediately took him to the vet. They had to do surgery on both ears because there were fox tails dug down do deep and the infection was so bad, he didn’t know how he stood the pain. The vet thought his leg had been broken and never set and didn’t recommend trying to fix it, his knee is twisted, again excruciating pain. He walks well on three legs. My Jasper now weights 6 lbs. and for all he had been through he is the most loving, sweet, snuggle angle I have ever had the pleasure of
