Paxton
3 years old Lab/Pit mix.
She was at an adoption event with the Muhlenberg County Humane Society, at a small festival held in the county. Standing with an ‘Adopt Me’ vest on.
We seen her across the festival and had to pet her before we left.
That’s all it had taken for us to want to take her home. She didn’t come from the best environment with previous owners, hence the reason for her anxiety/nervousness. (She acts to have been hit or beaten before) The daughter that had no control over how she was treated from previous owners just wanted her to have a good home. We made a promise to that little girl and to Paxton. We plan to keep it!
She’s learned and overcame so much and very well mannered.
She means the world to us and is now living her best life.
I could go on and on about the positive impact she has had on our family, but I’m only allowed a few words here.
Adopting her was the best decision we made.
