Share your Love Story
John and I met while working together at an engineering firm. Our friend Greg had two tickets to see Ben Folds at the House of Blues but couldn't go because he was traveling for work. John and I bought the tickets from Greg, went to Ben Folds and had the best time. We started the night as coworkers but after hours of talking, laughing, singing and dancing, this was clearly a date.

The mutual respect we had as team members created a friendship. Then, to our surprise, this friendship developed into the most amazing relationship. Many date night happy hours, and weekend lunch dates were spent in Balboa Park. The Prado was our favorite place to lunch over large bowls of tortilla soup and who wouldn't feel giddy sharing Cadillac margaritas at a happy hour price?! In the Park, we learned to lawn bowl in the Summer, and celebrated December nights in Winter. Within a year of meeting, we were planning a wedding and preparing to be parents. Its only natural that Balboa Park be the place we chose for our wedding photos. Its where we plan to spend time together as a family.

This year, we'll celebrate five years together and we are lucky to be the proud parents of a sweet, precotious, energetic and happy 4 year old boy (who loves Balboa Park for its train museum, fountains and playgrounds).
