Anais and Marcus met in 2010 in the San Diego Gaslamp quarter. Anais was a full time nursing student and Marcus was a local television host. They shared their first date and first kiss in the Balboa Park Japanese Friendship Garden and fell in love. After a year Marcus proposed to Anais and they moved to a nice humble home in City Heights San Diego. Marcus is a San Diego native and spent many days of his childhood with his Grandmother at the pond in front of the Botanical Garden in Balboa Park. It was his childhood dream to be married at that very spot. Turning dream to reality Marcus and Anais were married on a beautiful spring day April 21st 2012 in the Casa del Prado Courtyard. They shared one of their first kisses as husband and wife right on the bridge in front of the Botanical Garden. Balboa Park was forever etched in their hearts. They now spend days laying out by the pond with their two dogs Benjamin and Buttons and their one year old daughter Marlee!
