We met at work in Warren, Michigan. Virginia moved to San Diego with her family in 1978. We had a long distance romance. Pete followed her out in 1979.
We got married April 26, 1980 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lakeside. We decided to have our wedding reception in beautiful Balboa Park. Our wedding reception was at Café Del Rey Moro upstairs in the Loggia Room. The windows opened up to the beautiful courtyard where there was a college themed gangster party going on.
