Your Pet's Rescue Story
We rescued Mack when he was almost 5 years old from a foster home. His original owner had passed away more than a year prior and he had been with several families that kept giving him up. I can't imagine why! He is the sweetest, friendliest dog I have ever met. His foster dad made us promise that if we didn't want to keep him, that we would bring him back. Mack was special to him and he wanted to be sure he had a good home. We brought him home the first time we met him and he has been with us since, 2 1/2 years later. He may be large for a Lab, but his heart matches his stature. His favorite things are food and people. He loves to go places with us and greets everyone that passes by. Quantum Leap is one of his favorite destinations!
Mack may be a bit jealous of his new baby (human) brother, but he is even more protective and stays close by him; even letting Ryder lay on him. They are best friends in the making!
Mack is an important part of our family and I can't imagine life without him!
