Your Pet's Rescue StoryI take care of colonies of cats in Orlando, Florida. I am a part of Care Feline TNR. We trap , neuter and release them to their sanctuaries. This program helps to control cat population.
It was in April this year when I first saw Chase. I was getting ready to feed my colonies of cats when I saw Chase roaming around the parking lot at Clarion Hotel meowing like he was under a lot of stress. I think his owner or somebody dumped him at Clarion . I called him and he came to me meowing. I pet him and fed him . I know he is a domestic cat because he is so friendly to humans. Most of the guest at Clarion loves him. After two weeks I took him at OCAS Orlando to get him fix and also get him up to date with his shots. He was adapting to the life at Clarion till a guest complain about Chase. He said Chase bit him. My friend and I held him and pet him before and he never bit any of us. He got impounded at OCAS for 2 days for quarantine. I called OCAS and talked to them about doing the rest of his quarantine in my house. They agreed. After the quarantine I adopted him. I felt bad for him . He went through a lot for a 2 year old. Now he has a loving forever home with me and my cats. I have 4 cats including Chase. Anabeth is my foster cat. Nina and Nemo are my 2 other cats. Chase is so kind and adaptable. He gets along with my cats. Nemo is like an older brother to him. They are always together. Nemo and Nina were very close before Chase came in to my family. Nina is 12 years old and has kidney problem. I always worry about Nemo missing Nina if she pass away. Nemo is very close to Nina. They always sleep together. Now that Chase is with us, I know Nemo will be ok. He will take the place of Nina. Chase will be a good companion for Nemo. I am glad Chase came to our life . He is a blessing to me and my cats.
