Your Pet's Rescue Story
Snoopy’s Tail

A friend of mine had decided that she wanted to give back, so she volunteered to foster kitties and puppies until they were strong and healthy enough to go to a forever home. Soon after signing up she got the call and picked up a tiny little guy names Snoopy. My friend would share pictures and tales of this little kitty and although he was adorable, I had no intention of adopting him. Four months earlier I lost my baby girl Sabrina after 20 years. Although Sabrina lived to a ripe old age, I was taking her passing very hard and couldn’t see opening my heart and home to another cat. He so reminded me of Sabrina, not in looks or mannerism but in a different way. Years ago we bought Sabrina a little stuffed Snoopy which she carried around for years until his ear tore and the stuffing fell out. Snoopy’s little face so reminded me of that little stuffed toy with his bright and curious eyes, perky ears and little nose I knew Sabrina would approve. I came to pick up Snoopy, still wondering if I was up to letting him in, and brought him home. He sprung out of the carrier and immediately climbed up onto my lap and forever in my heart. Like his comic strip namesake, Snoopy is loyal, funny, imaginative and good-natured. He even has his own version of the “happy dance” where he springs straight up in the air 2 or 3 times. I’m so thankful he is part of the family!
