Your Pet's Rescue Story
Piper was found by a shelter in the Port Orange area. I live in Orlando. Growing up, for some reason I knew I always wanted a boxer named Piper. Imagine my surprise when I found a boxer mix named Piper on the Pet Finder app! Before I even contacted the shelter I knew she would be mine. I set up an appointment to meet Piper and learned of her past abusive home. She was rescued by the shelter who believed she was a stray, until her supposed family came along to claim her. Once Piper saw the family, she cowered in the back of her holding cage. The shelter would not let her go until they checked out the family's living conditions, who opposed that idea and left Piper behind instead. The shelter kept Piper and put her into an amazing foster home who taught her some nice manners and fun tricks! Piper is such a happy pup with SO much love to give, even after such a rough start. I've almost had her for a year, and not a single day goes by that I don't wonder how I got so lucky. Piper is so loved, and so spoiled (in the best way possible!). She even gets a dog beer with me from time to time, as pictured. Everyone falls in love with that smile! Piper has added so much laughter and love to my life, it really makes me wonder who rescued who!
