Your Pet's Rescue Story
Growing up I thought that dog was man's best friend. When my wife and I decided to rescue, she really wanted a cat. I was anti-cat, believing I would immediately get cat scratch fever or she would steal my oxygen while I was sleeping. Two years later I will never go back to dogs, I confidently identify myself as a cat person. She does take my breath away; lowering my blood pressure on a rough day, greeting us at the door after a long day and even responding when we call her. I still remember seeing her at Pet Alliance. As we were walking around she started meowing ensuring to grab our attention secretly saying " I choose you, I choose you." Lola Lee may be a dog in a cat's body giving us the best of both worlds, but we wouldn't trade those six toes, long whiskers and gorgeous stripes for any dog in the world. Cheers!
