Your Pet's Rescue Story
Lyanna for short. :)

Lyanna the cattle dog mix was found as a stray running around rural Kansas. Luckily she was taken in by the Allen County Animal Rescue Foundation (ACARF), a shelter that I had volunteered for previously. I asked my parents if they would foster her and they agreed. Then they helped me adopt and drive her all the way to Orlando.

She's the best dog ever. I'm glad I waited until the perfect time to decide to get one.

She may be awful at catching treats, it's a constant battle against the shedding (She broke 1 vacuum already), and she secretly sleeps on the couch when I'm not home even though she knows she's not allowed; but she's crazy smart, learning agility, knows how to roll over and is the cutest.

I would like to say that her expression in this photo is how she lovingly looks at me every day, but that's just how she looks at food.
