Your Pet's Rescue Story
Foxy is not the dog I was expecting to adopt 12 years ago from Orange County Animal Services. I had my eye on a Siberian Husky that was gone when I went back for my second visit. I asked one of the volunteers which dogs had been there the longest and she brought me to a kennel with three dogs, one of them was Foxy. She sold me with her cute face, purple tongue, and her fetching skills (I think she's fetched 5 times since then)!

Foxy was my first college roommate. She kept me company while I studied and she was my security from any "unknown intruders". Because all burglars knock before they break in, right?! I not only learned patience from Foxy but I learned compassion and what it means to have a "fur child".

I'm so glad the Siberian Husky went to a good home 12 years ago because it gave me the opportunity to rescue Foxy and for her to rescue me right back.
