Your Pet's Rescue Story
Simba was rescued earlier this year from the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. He was skinny, had fleas when he was taken in, and had worms. His previous family said he needed more attention. I was ready to adopt a dog and fell in love with Simba's photo online. I came in that same day and got to spend some time getting to know him. Soon afterward we were on our way home! The Pet Alliance was super helpful and I can't thank the volunteers enough. Simba has since then gained weight and made a few kitty friends in my house. He gets to see other dogs and enjoys our daily walks. Recently I found out that he is allergic to fleas, dairy, and meat. He was so itchy and suffering from seizures. Ever since I changed his diet and got him medicated shampoo (thanks to the Pet Alliance) he is finally calming down. He was taught tricks from his previous owners but he didn't learn a lot of behavioral or social skills. We've been working on that a lot and I think he is one of the best dogs ever. He is so in love with me it's adorable. He is happy to have a loving home and so am I. I'm so grateful for the Pet Alliance; they've helped with all of my cats and Simba.
