Your Pet's Rescue Story
Sir Kokomo was rescued from a hoarding case in Putnam County. He was found in a double wide wide trailer with no A/C. There were over 70 animals in total including over 55 dogs most being Chows or Shiba Inus. He had never been outside, felt grass or the elements.

Sir Kokomo was taken in by S.A.F.E. rescue in St. Augustine where they posted his photo on Facebook. We came across his profile one night and decided we needed to meet him.

Upon meeting him it was clear that he was destined to be a part of our family. He had a majestic presence and a regal stride. At one point in his kennel he lifted his paw up to our hands. After that we started the process of adopting him and the rest is history.

We cannot imagine our lives without Kokomo. He is a lover of belly rubs, head scratches and laying on the couch. He has also become quite the dapper fellow as he trots around turning heads everywhere he goes as he is known as the bow tie aficionado in the neighborhood. Kokomo is a real life teddy bear!
