Your Pet's Rescue Story
We were walking down the Avenue (Avie) when we saw a blur run past.
This malnutritioned (you could see every bone in her body), flea and mite infested, obviously neglected dog literally ran into our lives.
This is how we found our Avie. Since that day, we have found adventures and joy. She makes us laugh every day with her spunky personality.
Because of her, we go on nature trail hikes, have found dog friendly restaurants and have become pretty good at throwing frisbees :) We are trying to get her comfortable on a paddleboard so we can bring her on more adventures.
I wish we could live as forgiving, trusting and loving as she is. I admire and envy her all at once!
I'd also like to say we rescued her, but the truth is she rescued us.
She is our hero.
