Your Pet's Rescue Story
We went to the shelter just to "have a look".. all true animal lovers know the result of a casual visit to the animal shelter! We fell in love with Sampson immediately. He was calmly sitting in the puppy enclosure with 5 other little pups jumping all over him and tugging on his ears. Once I held him and he melted into me, I knew we had found our newest family member!

Sampson's enclosure said he was a 6 month German shepherd. Turns out, he was a full grown dog! When it was determined that he was not a puppy, he was tested for heart worm and the result was positive. I received a phone call at work with the news and asked if we still wanted him. This was no choice at all. After some considerable finances and lots of love, Sampson is heart worm free and has been with us for nearly 5 years! His newest role is guard dog/best friend to his baby sister Harper.

We can't even imagine what our lives would be like without this sweet, snuggly little pup!
