Your Pet's Rescue Story
Lucky was abandoned by her first family when they moved and left her in the back yard. She was about six months old then. Poor baby girl, but a neighbor snapped a photo of her and Ryan decided to rescue her. She was so scared and didn't trust anyone, who can blame her! But, she quickly took to him and they were best of friends. They would go running together, chase after birds and squirrels, and play all the time. I met Ryan and Lucky in 2004 when he and I started dating. We've been a family ever since and Lucky was so welcoming of her new cat siblings - Ross, Rachael, and Lynx. Lucky was so affectionate and playful with everyone. She loved running as fast as she could up and down the stairs and outside around the pool. She was the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. Lucky was laid to rest in June at the age of fourteen and a half. She was such a fighter, but the seizures were just too much for her. We would love to honor her in this way. She was such a special girl to us and we all miss her terribly.
