Your Pet's Rescue Story
My beautiful fur baby Dixie was rescued by Pet Rescue by Judy four years ago from a dog hoarder in Atlanta. Dixie was among over 70 other dogs in one home. I came to adopt Dixie from my husband and I's monthly trip to the rescue to foster a dog. From the moment I saw Dixie, I knew she was meant to be ours and she knew we were destined to be her Mommy & Daddy! I suffer from PTSD, anxiety and panic attacks. Dixie picked up on this immediately. Her silent devoted companionship knew how to comfort and love me to make me feel at ease and that I can get through anything with her by my side. The connection and bond I have with Dixie is truly other worldly. As if my entire life has been leading up to the moment that she would be my dog and she would save me from my anxiety. She makes each and every day of our lives filled with so much happiness and love. Despite the horrible conditions she was introduced to from entering this world, she has remained a loving and gentle soul that spreads joy to every one she meets. How truly blessed I am to be worthy of Dixie's unconditional love and devotion!
