Your Pet's Rescue Story
Digit started his life out on the streets of Altamonte Springs. He lived with a ferral colony near an apartment complex across from Altamont Mall. There was a girl that lived there that worked for a grooming salon in Oviedo. She heard about the maintenance people killing the kitten s. She started gathering all the kittens she could and worked with rescues yo find fosters for the kittens. She found and placed over 20 kittens that kitten season. Digit was not exactly grown up but was not a kitten either. He would hang out but not let people near him except her grooming friend. One day his grooming friend was brave enough to try to pick him up. She was able to get him into a carrier and bring him to Oviedo. She was so afraid he would be killed. The grooming girls gave him a bed, food, water and love. Digit got neutered and shots while he recovered from surgery he feel in love and so did his grooming girls. He has lived with them for two years. He has decided that air conditioning , regular food and water and constant love is better than being a street cat.
