Your Pet's Rescue Story
Mom Cat appeared at my back door 15 years ago with two kittens in tow. She was very hungry and skinny and so were her babies. Even though she hissed at me when I tried to feed her little family, I was taken in by her persistence in returning. I took her in for TNR (trap/neuter/release) – note her notched ear – and found homes for her babies. But I didn’t have the heart to “release” her. Mom Cat bonded with me instantly and has been my best fur friend ever since. She’s about 16 years old now, and I love this little girl dearly. She has such a gentle spirit and has given me so much to love about life.
