Cat - My Best Friend Rescue White
Your Pet's Rescue StoryI was donating towels to the Pet Alliance and decided to visit the cats. It had been 5 years since I'd been owned by a cat. When I walked in, they took me straight to a bengal adult who was crouched up and wouldn't come out of his pen. Bengals are difficult cats to get adopted because of their demanding behavior, they are often compared to toddlers, but I figured my 20 years of teaching experience would come in handy. Well, he had me at meow. I took him home that day after running to the pet store to re-arm my self for cat duty. It took a week for Gaston (renamed because he was the best looking cat in town) to feel safe enough to move about the cabin, so to speak, and we had a set back when he had to endure the cone of shame after his surgery. A breeder had turned him, most likely because of the large tumor on his leg, luckily it was benign. He talks incessantly and likes to shower with me. This pic is Gaston with his belly up to the bar demanding dinner. He has completely stolen my heart even though I'll never be able to put toilet paper out in the open again. My Facebook friends are in love with him and follow our escapades online.
