Your Pet's Rescue Story
More like how she rescued me ! All it took was her little pot belly, stuffy nosed self running up to me to know she was mine and coming home with me. I did not plan on taking on that responsibility, but in that moment I was transitioning careers and had a bit more time on my hands. Apparently she had been passed up a few times because of her bad puppy cold. I thought how ridiculous can one be too pass this hand full of love that even in the darkest of nights she can light up the sky like a full moon. That same week I got rid of her puppy cough and sniffles, splashed in the pool and the journey began of what is over 10 years together. She has licked the tears off my face as I faced many crucial life events to come from divorce, heart break and obstacles, yet she has also been there in my happiest moments of travel , beach and volunteerism. Her presence has brought so much joy to everyone else in my life as well in the community. I never knew how capable I was to love this creature so much and has brought out the passion I have for Dogs including volunteering to jog the pups in Pet Alliance jogging program. She has lifted me, seen me grow into my best self, brought out the absolute best in me and keeps me balance. She is a companion that I will cherish forever.
