Your Pet's Rescue Story
It was August of 2006 when I decided I needed a kitty companion. I headed to the nearest shelter determined to find the best cat there. Upon entering the “cat” play area, I saw a little black kitten named Angel. She and I bonded immediately, and I told the shelter volunteer that I would be taking her home. She said, “Just so you know, it’s a 2 for 1 deal on cat adoptions today.” I just HAD to go back in and look. There, in the corner, was this little tiny furball with gigantic ears almost as big as his head! I picked him up and held him in my arms, cradling him, and he fell asleep purring ever so softly. I immediately fell in love, and that day was one of the happiest in my life. I got to bring home two beautiful babies who would forever change my life.

13 years later, Chase is still that boy who will fall asleep next to me purring just like he did that first day. He has made me so happy and has truly become my best friend. He plays just like a little kitten, “chase-ing” balls and running around like a crazy cat! Catnip makes him even crazier!!! He loves to sleep with his little toy jellyfish and is such a cuddle bug! I love to sing him songs, and he often meows back as if he is joining in. Chase has made me a proud mama. Not having children of my own, I treat Chase, and my 4 other fur babies as if they were my kids.
