Your Pet's Rescue Story
In September 2016, our best friend and jack Russell terrier Maggie passed away after 17 wonderful years together. At the time, we had decided to hold off on getting another dog so we could do some traveling. During our travels to South Carolina two months later, we met a beautiful four-month-old bloodhound. We’d never met a bloodhound before and fell in love instantly with this sweet pup! When we returned home a week later we decided we couldn’t live without a another dog. We reached out to PAGO and to my surprise, they had a sweet 11 month old bloodhound who had just arrived the day before! We’d never considered a large dog because we’d only had a terrier and when we put her in the car we were very scared. She was huge!! We immediately fell in love and she’s been the best addition to our family! Daisy is a true hound dog and loves lying on the front porch to “protect” the family. Daisy enjoys playing with birds in the backyard, barking at people who kayak by our house and sleeping across our bed so as to avoid allowing humans in.
