Your Pet's Rescue Story
We had to put our Bichon Frise to sleep unexpectedly, we were devastated and our home felt empty. My son wanted a new dog, a bit bigger to play fetch with and who would be by his side. Bella was definitely more attached to me. So we were in area when I started looking on Google on March 1, 2019. Banjo was first picture that popped up for Pet Alliance, I was instantly drawn to him. So we went straight there. He was in first kennel down hall, came right up to us excited, read he was brought to kennel on son's birthday 2-19, that his owner had passed. We asked to interact and it was instant connections with all of us. Banjo's papers showed his behavior and personality were Perfect fit for our home, current pets and visiting family and friends. He came home same day and doesn't leave my son's side. Two Best Friends. Our home is again full of Love. Our rescue cat Chase after a week or so Accepted him too. All three rescue pets love each other. We have rescue Guniea Pig S'Mores too. There are still signs he was abused or neglected but he comes out of his shell each day. He loves are big fenced in backyard, he would lay out there all day if we let him. He loves fetch with balls and frisbees, also burying the balls for later. We miss Bella every day too, but then Banjo does something similar to Bella and we know it is a sign he is meant to be part of our Family and Home. After reading medical records come to find out not only was he brought to shelter in son's birthday they share their birthdays. Words could never express the new added joy of finding Banjo at right time and that it was meant to be.
