Your Pet's Rescue Story
In the spring of 2017, a carrier was left under a tree at the Vet. The person who left the carrier walked back to their car and drove away. Griffin was in the carrier (although the Vet team named him Griffin). About a month after Griffin was left at the Vet, we were asked to consider taking him. When I walked in to meet Griffin he walked up and lay in front of my feet for a "belly rub". Although we thought our home was at "cat-pacity", we agreed to take Griffin. In advance, we exchanged some towels so the cats could smell each other. Griffin came home on June 30, 2017. It took about 10 weeks to integrate Griffin into the household (it was not easy). Two years later Griffin has learned to use the pet door, comes when called, and still loves a belly rub.
