Your Pet's Rescue Story
The Story of Star:

A neighbor a couple doors down volunteers at a homeless shelter and also takes care of the the feral cats living outside. She had taken care of the mother to Star for quite some time when she arrived one day to find the mother not doing well and so horribly she didn't survive. My neighbor took her kittens home so that what happened to their mother would not happen to them. She had never had a cat prior and was not expecting to fall for these little furballs. She sure did though. She couldn't keep but one so needed homes.

We had lost our beloved cat Stella a few months prior and this same neighbor was the one who had found our Stella when she was not doing well. It seemed like it was meant to be. Our little kitten was even taught by the neighbor to swim in the lake and enjoyed it so! We named her Star, as that is the Latin translation of the name Stella (our kitty we lost unexpectedly).

Star came into our lives just at the right time and truly rescued us. She is the sweetest little girl and has become best of friends with her brother cat Simba.
