Your Pet's Rescue Story
About a year ago my husband and I went into The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando to look for a kitten to adopt. We found the perfect black kitten we wanted, but were told we had to wait to go pick him up the next day after he had one last procedure done. Before we left The Pet Alliance my husband insisted we take one more look around at all of the older cats. We looked at all of them and one kept catching his eye, named Catastrophe, but we had not planned on adopting more than just one cat and had already chosen the black kitten. We left and eagerly awaited the next morning to finally go pick up our black kitty. The next morning though, my husband would not stop talking about the older cat he had seen named Catastrophe. That morning when we got to the shelter my husband and I looked at Catastrophe and had heard from several people at the shelter that he had been there for about three months waiting to find a forever home. We decided to take a chance and adopt Catastrophe with our black kitty and boy are we sure glad we did. We changed his name from Catastrophe to Fyodor and he has been our best friend ever since we brought him home. He has brought us so much love and joy and we truly couldn't have ever picked a better cat for us. I am forever grateful for the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for taking care of so many animals until they can find forever homes.
