Your Pet's Rescue Story
About 10 years ago, I was devastated and lonely because I had lost my two elderly cats a few months prior and was without a pet for the first time in my life. I stopped by my vet's office to donate some supplies and they asked me if I wanted to meet the "mama kitty". Of course, I did!! I went to the back and saw this gorgeous Siamese-mix kitty with the most beautiful blue eyes. You see, Willow was abandoned at my vet when she was about a year old with nine 4-day old kittens!! They were all taped up in a box labeled "Kittens" and left over night on the vet's doorstep. Luckily, Mama Willow was healthy as were her babies. When I looked at Willow, she looked just like a Siamese I has as a child and my heart melted. She was exactly what my broken heart needed to fill the void left when my elder kitties passed to the Rainbow Bridge. After weeks of foster care, all 9 kittens were adopted out and I took Willow home! A few weeks later, I brought home her "brother" Bentley (he's a different story!) and they've been inseparable ever since. She truly is my Healer Cat.
