Your Pet's Rescue Story
Luna was found as a stray and taken in by a rescue group called Twyla’s Friends in Houston Texas. My sister in law volunteered for them and I saw her picture on Facebook. Our dog had passed away a few months earlier and we immediately fell in love with her. When found they figured that she had probably been chained up outside ( in the Texas heat!) for quite some time. Her ears were raw from being bitten by horse flies and she had a broken front leg and was heartworm positive. She healed up nicely and after much coordinating we met my sister in law in Lafayette LA with Luna. She is sweet, stubborn, playful and full of energy like a Husky should be. How anyone could not care for such a beautiful animal was beyond us. She is the perfect addition to our family. We love our Luna!!
