Your Pet's Rescue Story
Gable was named after the most handsome man in Hollywood - Clarke Gable. Found as a stray, he spent 3 months in a high kill shelter in Van Nuys CA. He was spotted just in time to save him from euthanasia by the German Shepherd Rescue group in Burbank CA. I adopted him from them 3 months later. He was their largest GSD, with little known history or age but assumed to be around 4-5 years old. Turned out he had moderate to severe hip displaysia so it took me about 18 months to build him up so that he could run properly again. Always up for adventure hikes, his greatest discovery has been the beach! This photo is of him resting after another great day in the surf and sand!
